Understanding the Student Profile (PDF)
This reference guide for the basics of navigating a student’s Workday profile as an
advisor. The student’s profile includes the following sections as applicable: Summary,
Personal, Contact, Academics, Student Financials, Athletics, International, Military
Details, History and Action Items and Holds. The tabs surfaced for each advisor are
based on security role access.
Action Items and Holds (PDF)
Advisors can view student action items and apply, view, and remove student holds in
Workday via the student profile and by using reports.
Program of Study (PDF)
Advisors can view, add, change, and remove programs of study on behalf of students
in Workday.

Viewing Student Academic Progress (PDF)
Advisors can view a student’s current academic progress through two methods: accessing
the student’s profiles and using a report.

Student cohorts are specific groups of students you define based on certain criteria.
They share common attributes or are grouped together for a particular purpose. These
attributes can include academic programs, entry years, demographics, participation
in certain activites, etc...

two methods: accessing the student's actions in their student profile or using a report.
