LSU Eunice is proud to announce that three faculty members have been named Meauxmentum Scholars by the Louisiana Board of Regents. The inaugural scholar program features more than 100 faculty members chosen from around the state to participate due to their commitment to excellence and student success in the classroom.
LSU Eunice will host is annual URSI Symposium on Friday, November 15 inside the Dr. Anthony Mumphrey Center on campus. The Undergraduate Research Summer Institute, or URSI, allows LSUE students to conduct research projects with campus faculty.
Two distinguished faculty members from Louisiana State University Eunice (LSUE) have received prestigious national honors in recognition of their dedication to nursing education and their significant impact on the profession.
LSU Eunice is proud to welcome Dr. Cheryl Frugé as its new Dean of Students, the school recently announced. Dr. Frugé comes back to the Cajun Prairie with years of experience as a counselor at both the collegiate and high school level.
Louisiana State University Eunice is continuing its trend of growing enrollment with another record breaking fall this semester. LSUE has established new benchmarks in six different enrollment categories as well as the second largest fall head count in school history - only trailing last fall's total enrollment.
LSU Eunice's Braneshea Moore, an assistant professor of nursing, has been named the 2024 Elsevier Educator of the Year by the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN). Moore officially receives the honor at the OADN Convention in Tampa, Florida from October 31-November 2.
