National Alliance on Mengal Illness (NAMI)

The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a nationwide advocacy group, representing families and people affected by mental health disorders in the United States. The national organization is organized into state and local affiliates, of which NAMI–Louisiana is one. There are numerous offices throughout various cities in Louisiana.

Louisiana Local Governing Entities

The LGEs are currently treating adults and children with serious mental illnesses or emotional disturbances through clinics throughout the state. These behavioral health clinics provide a variety of services, including:
