The Academic Advisor can use professional discretion on a case-by-case basis to schedule a student for an elective outside of the aforementioned pre-approved options. The rationale for any deviation should be documented in the student's advising notes.
If a student needs to be full time (e.g. athletic compliance) and has completed a majority of the core courses, elective selection can deviate from the pre-approved electives outlined above.
After a student has completed and/or tested out of UNIV1005, UNIV0008, ENGL0001, and MATH0001/MATH0015/MATH0021, he or she has successfully completed the Pathways to Success program.
